Thank you rocket city community!
This very first of many future Trombone Christmas' in the Rocket City was a huge success!
The official count was 48 trombone players on the stage.
The Church of the Nativity, located downtown Huntsville, was a great location and the staff was very supportive of the trombone community. https://nativity.dioala.org/ Thank you very much for everything you did to ensure the success of this first Rocket City Trombone Christmas.
A huge thank you to the conductors that helped the music come to life.
Dr. Joseph Awad (Nashville, TN)
David Jackson (Fort Campbell, KY)
Kevin Flannigan (Hazel Green, AL)
Jesse Pascua (Huntsville, AL)
As with any successful event, there are supporters that volunteer their time for the love of trombone!
Kerri Thomas was a huge reason for the ease of the whole registration and check-in process. Also, with the shirts and beanies being sold.
Beth Sullivan worked alongside Kerri with the registration and check-in process. She also made sure the pizza was available after the rehearsal for the ravenous horde of trombone players.
Thanks to Marsha Asquith for providing water for the severely dehydrated bone players during the post rehearsal timeframe.
