The Rocket City Bones ensemble has been around since 15 November 2014. Over the years, there has been players that have come and gone. But, the most amazing thing is that the number of trombone players that are connected through this ensemble has grown to over 100 trombone players from around the Tennessee Valley.
This ensemble is comprised of trombone players from all levels of playing ability. We have professional gigging musicians, music teachers, college students, high school students and middle school students.
Each rehearsal has a focus on a few pieces of music that vary in styles. The music is provided by Patrick Sullivan with Bone Yard Music, LLC. But, if anyone has music they would like to bring in to work on...that is definitely welcome.
