Bone Yard Music is proud to host the Rocket City's 2nd Annual Trombone Christmas!
This year will be a little bit different. Rocket City Trombone Christmas 2019 was the very first of many events to come. We met a lot of great folks and learned some things that worked very well as well as come things that needed to work more efficiently.
This year we will be providing holiday music for Big Spring Park located in Downtown Huntsville, AL! With COVID-19 being an issue for many activities, especially indoor ones, we will be gathering outdoors.
Screen Door Pictures, LLC will be recording this year's event with a few different cameras in order to create a really nice video!

A healthy trombone community is a great thing to have.
We are working to grow our community in the Rocket City. We would love to have you join us in our 2nd Annual Trombone Christmas as well as many other gatherings of the trombone forces.
I look forward to meeting some new trombone players and catching up with some familiar faces(with masks)!

The turn out
During the planning of the first Trombone Christmas in the Rocket City, I was estimating/hoping for about 20-25 trombonists to attend. Our official number was 48. That is 48 trombonists from four different states.
I have encountered several trombonists in the months following the 2019 Trombone Christmas that heard about the event afterwards or had a conflict. With the news of a Trombone Christmas down here in Huntsville, AL spreading...I am expecting many more players for the 2020 Trombone Christmas Event.

Community rehearsals

There will be rehearsals for all that want to play the music ahead of the official rehearsal. These rehearsals will begin in November. That gives 4-6 weeks of rehearsals.
REHEARSAL DATES November 1st - Sunday November 8th - Sunday November 15th - Sunday November 22th - Sunday November 29th - Sunday December 7th - Monday December 12th (official event rehearsal) - Saturday For rehearsal times and locations, check out the Tennessee Valley Trombones on Facebook.
