ROCKET CITY
TROMBONE CHRISTMAS
2022
The video/photos will be uploaded in a few days!
The 4th Annual Rocket City Trombone Christmas was be at Stovehouse in Huntsville, AL again this year. We look forward to welcoming trombonists from many cities across several states.
Last year we had a grand total of 35 trombonists that included Tenor Trombones, Bass Trombones, and Three Contrabass Trombones.
This year we had much more variety of trombones present at the performance with a grand total of 52 players!!!
We had One Soprano Trombonist, Three Alto Trombonists, Forty-Two Tenor Trombonists(the soprano/alto players were also playing tenor), Ten Bass Trombonists, and Two Contrabass Trombonists(also playing bass).
This year's event could not have happened without the folks that helped with the background operations!
Kerri Thomas - The Superstar! She made the invitations for the trombone players in the North Alabama area, flyers to put up around town, led the decorations and setup for the entire event, and filled in where ever was needed to make the event successful!
Beth Sullivan - Supported throughout all of the planning and rehearsals. She also ran the table for people to donated to future events and answered many questions about what was needed.
Emmaleigh Sullivan - Helped mom with anything that was needed.
Kyle Sullivan - Took care of recording the event and organized the official photos in order to fully document the event!
Taylor Crumby - Helped with decorations, guiding people where they needed to be, setup, teardown, and anything in-between!
Bill Gullatt - Handled the wearable swag for 2022. He was flexible with color options and made sure people received their gear!
Mari Hinckley - The registration/check-in manager! She was the keeper of the RCTC 2022 buttons as well as handled book sales and any donations to the future events.
These are the people that made sure everything ran smoothly while I ran around doing a bunch of other logistics type things. i can't thank you enough for your hard work and support for this event that made it awesome!
